Recent improvements, like the new watercraft portage around the Amery Dam, make canoeing and kayaking more accessible than ever. Whether you're casting a line or enjoying a picnic in one of the park's scenic areas, Michael Park is the perfect spot to unwind and connect with nature.

North Park
North Park spans over 5 acres along Highway 46 and is perfect for visitors of all ages. It features a fishing pier on the Apple River and two covered picnic pavilions ideal for parties and gatherings, complete with grills and accessible restrooms near the tennis courts. For those interested in camping, the park offers 8 improved RV sites with 50-AMP service, water, and fire rings. Reservations can be made through City Hall, or sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis after 12 on Fridays. Children can enjoy a large playground equipped with slides, swings, and monkey bars, while the sports area includes an open field, a baseball backstop, frisbee golf, and a full basketball court. Free wireless available.

Soo Line Park
Soo Line Park, situated downtown, features the Amery Trailhead Pavilion. This park serves as the gateway to the Stower Seven Lakes Trail and hosts the weekly Farmers Market every Monday and Saturday during the summer months. The Pavilion also accommodates various events throughout the year. Visitors can enjoy picnic tables and benches for public use, and parking for the Stower Seven Lakes Trail is available on-site. Restrooms have been added to the park, and guests can access free wireless internet in both the Pavilion and the park area.

York Park
The park features 40 acres of urban mixed hardwood forest situated on a hilly landscape, alongside boggy wetlands a quarter-mile of untouched lake shore. Visitors can explore 3 miles of gravel trails and access a fishing dock along the lakeside.
